About Mark A Shot™
A Must-Have Shooting Accessory
Say "Goodbye" to masking, electrical
and expensive stick-on tapes and dots and say, "Welcome" to a brand
new product called Mark A Shot™, the future of target marking. Mark A Shot™
is a revolutionary new product, which is unlike any other target-marking tool.
These markers are more effective, faster to mark, more visible, and much more
cost-effective than other target marking tools currently on the market.
What is Mark A Shot™?
Mark A Shot™ 20ml markers feature a spring
valve, leak-proof applicator, which will not dry out. The applicator is designed
to mark each shot with just the right amount of ink to cover each hit. Mark A
Shot™ is available in four bright colors - red, green, orange, and
pink, and makes bright, water resistant marks on paper targets, or anywhere a
bullet hits. The bright, fluorescent colors make it easy to see shot groups at
long distances. Each Mark A Shot™ 20ml bottle makes approximately 12,000
impressions! The pen-like shape of the marker makes it very easy to use -
without a mess. And, it fits easily in a jacket, vest or pocket without
interference while shooting. Using the Mark A Shot™ system is simple and the
most effective way to analyze and see immediate feedback between shot groups.
How to Use Mark A Shot™
The Mark A Shot™ system can be used in many
ways. For maximum benefit of the system, use all four of the colors.
Grouping Method: Make a "key"
on the target before you start shooting. Dab a dot of each color somewhere on
the target & label the color to identify either shot groups (ex. Group 1 -
green; Group 2 - red, etc.) . From a set distance, fire a certain number of
rounds in to your target. Mark this group with one of the four colors from your
"key." Next, from same distance, fire same number of rounds in to
target. Mark this group with a different color and so on, until you have shot
four groups in to target. Using this system, you will be able to see how to
adjust your fire or sights to produce smaller groups.
Firing Range/Distance Shooting Method:
For use in training and scoring shots on target, using the Mark A Shot™
markers will help both trainee and trainer observer shot grouping. This analysis
will be useful for immediate adjustment in firing. As with the "grouping
method," make a key for your distances (ex. 1 yard - green; 3 yards - red;
5 yards, etc.). Fire group from 1 yard, mark all shots with green. Use red to
mark shots from 3-yard line, and so on. This will help show the shooter and
observer how to adjust fire as distances change. At the end of firing, all shots
will be marked for easy score.
What Can Mark A Shot™
Do For You?
FOR HOBBY SHOOTERS Use Mark A Shot™
at a range or any other target practice spot to make your training more
effective and less expensive! Instead of using tape, pens, or expensive stick-on
dots to cover shot holes, use the same target multiple times and save on the
number of targets needed to analyze your shooting and shot grouping.
FOR HUNTERS/SPORTSMEN Using the Mark A
Shot™ system allows for quick adjustment of scope or fix sight between
shot groups. Shots can be seen up to 25 feet away with naked eye or 100 yards +
with scope. Also great for shotgun target practice - shots are so quick to mark,
it's easier to use the same target multiple times!
FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT The Mark A Shot™
system can be used as a training aid with high capacity magazines, groups fired
at different ranges can be marked by different colors on same targets for
analysis of gun handling. More cost-effective to use one target 4 times than
using 4 different targets! Mark A Shot™ can also be used by SWAT teams for
close-quarter combat shooting, sniper training, and double-tap chest and single
head shot scoring.
FOR CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATORS
Mark A Shot™ markers can be used to dab on or around bullet holes or marks.
The bright, fluorescent colors will allow bullet marks or shell casings to be
photographed on the following surfaces: glass, painted or unpainted walls, wood
trim, and brick. Markers can also be dabbed on car windows and body panels.
Concrete and asphalt streets and sidewalks can also be dabbed with fluorescent
color to help with crime scene photography.* With four colors available, multiple
shooters or gun calibers can be identified by color. Shot gun patterns used as
court evidence will have more visual effect with the color markings.
Mark
A Shot™ is the next generation of
marking, scoring and analyzing shots fired in to targets. Simplicity and
cost-effectiveness make Mark A Shot™ a great investment to add to your
shooting supplies.
* Note that Mark A Shot™ markers are designed
to be dabbed, not dragged like ink markers. Use on brick, concrete or asphalt
can be done by pushing marker down gently and allowing ink to flow until desired
amount of ink is applied for use.
